Helexia, a subsidiary of Voltalia (Euronext Paris, ISIN code: FR0011995588) and an international player in the energy transition, announces the signature of three new contracts in Brazil totaling 14.7 megawatts to supply TIM (8.5 megawatts), Vibra Energia (4.0 megawatts) and Raia Drogasil (2.2 megawatts) with solar power.ย

Helexia is pleased to assist the following major Brazilian companies in their decarbonisation journey:

  • TIM: A Brazilian telecommunications company and subsidiary of Italyยดs TIM S.p.A., which provides mobile and fixed telephone services and is the third largest telecom operator in the country;
  • Vibra Energia: The largest distributor and marketer of petroleum derivatives and biofuels in Brazil with more than 8,000 gas stations across the country; and
  • Raia Drogasil: The largest drugstore company in Brazil by revenue and market capitalization, operating 2,500 stores branded as Droga Raia, Drogasil, 4Bio, and 11 distribution centers.

The contracts provide for solar power supply of approximately 1,000 clientsโ€™ consumption sites located in the Brazilian states of Rondรดnia, Rio Grande do Norte, Sรฃo Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul.

Together with the 87-megawatt contract with Telefonica / Vivo signed in 2020-21, Helexia now owns a portfolio of 101.7 megawatts of solar projects under construction in Brazil.

With these new contracts, Helexia demonstrates its capacity to diversify its client and sector base (telecom, energy and pharmaceuticals) and builds on its track record with Telefonica / Vivo, its first client in Brazil. The new contracts will lead to economies of scale in the country
